Pre- Conference Workshop Information

The final topics and levels of the Hands-On Workshops, Practical Labs, and Masterclasses are currently being finalized in collaboration with the Scientific Committee and the Local Organising Committee. Once all details are confirmed, the full descriptions will be published on this page.

To help you already understand the structure and level of each session type, please find an overview below.

 
Practical Labs (Advanced Level)

Practical Labs are in‑depth, advanced sessions intended for participants with existing professional experience. They focus on specific surgical or medical techniques and require prior knowledge.

Example: “Rabbit cutting edge hepatic and intestinal surgery” is considered an advanced Practical Lab, not a beginner session.

Registration for the practical labs are available under the categories:

  • Pre-conference – Saturday April 11th – Practical Labs & Hands-on Workshops
  • Pre-conference – Full Period – Saturday & Sunday
  • Main conference – Monday April 13th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Tuesday April 14th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Wednesday April 15th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Full Period (& pre-conference optional)

Masterclasses (Intermediate to Advanced Level)

Masterclasses are not beginner sessions. They are typically aimed at an intermediate to advanced audience, depending on the topic and the speaker.

Registration for the masterclasses are available under the categories:

  • Pre-conference – Sunday April 12th – Masterclasses & Basic Day
  • Pre-conference – Full Period – Saturday & Sunday
  • Main conference – Monday April 13th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Tuesday April 14th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Wednesday April 15th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Full Period (& pre-conference optional)
 
Basic Day

There are two Basic Day programs.
1. Basic day for veterinarians
2. Basic day for veterinary nurses and animal caretakers

Registration for the basic day is available under the categories:

  • Pre-conference – Sunday April 12th – Masterclasses & Basic Day
  • Pre-conference – Full Period – Saturday & Sunday
  • Main conference – Monday April 13th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Tuesday April 14th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Wednesday April 15th (& pre-conference optional)
  • Main conference – Full Period (& pre-conference optional)
